What are your company documents worth to AI buyers?
No buyer prices documents by the page. What gets published is a size rule and a range per company: micro1 $100K to $3M+ from 30 employees, Scale AI an illustrative $10K to $1M+ from a preferred 40. The check below tells you which of those your company clears. Not an offer, and actual licenses are frequently far lower.

The published rules and ranges the check uses
The same figures, readable without the check.
| Buyer | Size or status rule | Published range | Basis |
|---|---|---|---|
| micro1 | 30+ employees | $100K to $3M+ | Tiers of $100K–500K, $500K–3M and $3M+ |
| Scale AI | 40+ employees | $10K to $1M+ | Illustrative only |
| Nyne | 20+ employees, 3+ years, US W-2 staff | $100K or more | $100K or more |
| SimpleClosure | Company winding down with SimpleClosure | Not published | Not published |
Disclosure: a few of these buyers pay us if an introduction of ours ends in a license. The figures and the check work the same regardless.
What have real document sales brought in?
Two reported sales mark the extremes. For Spirit Airlines' business data (staff emails, Teams chats, spreadsheets, calendars), Google put in a $10 million bid and Mercor $7.5 million; Reuters' August 17, 2026 report said a court still had to approve. At the small end, a founder who shut his startup down got roughly $25,000 for its codebase, according to an October 2026 MIT Technology Review piece.
Neither is typical, and neither was a license for documents alone. Read every advertised range as a ceiling, at least until a buyer has scoped your actual collection.

Questions on file
- Why does the check not give one number?
- Because no buyer has published a formula to compute one. micro1 does run an estimator, yet keeps its method private and calls the result indicative only, short of a quote or a binding offer. Any single figure from us would be made up.
- Are these ranges for documents alone?
- No. Each range is for a whole data partnership, which can include CRM, support, legal and other records as well as documents. A documents-only license is scoped on what it contains, not on the headline range.
- We are under 30 employees. Is there any route?
- Nyne’s floor is lower: twenty US employees on W-2 and a three-year trading record, though it wants system records more than documents. Below its preferred 40, Scale AI says it judges each case on its merits.
- Does the check store what I type?
- No. Everything happens on your own device and nothing is transmitted. The request form further down is the one place that sends data, and it sends only what you enter there.

The check shows published ranges. For buyers' actual interest, describe the documents and we will tell you which buyers fit.
Note: we make introductions, and the buyer at the other end may pay us for them.
Keep documents, exports, share links and samples to yourself. We work from your description alone.
Filed. Next steps:
- Your answers get compared with every buyer's posted size, region and content rules.
- An email follows, naming each buyer that fits and why, or telling you no buyer fits so far.
- The company's name reaches a buyer only after your yes to that particular buyer.
- Until then, leave the files exactly where they are. Copies are not needed.
